I tried this product because I have a chronic condition and need a steady supply of electrolytes and salt. I was pleasantly surprised at how much it helped with my symptoms compared to other products on the market. I've added this to my water bottle and occasionally sprinkled a few drops of sugar free flavor on top, but the flavor doesn't directly bother me, it's sort of a mild, salty, mineral flavor. One of the first things I noticed was that I definitely had more energy and was able to stand longer without POTS symptoms flaring up. I've lost a lot of muscle tone due to my illness and am starting to do light cardio and light weight training again and there was a huge difference between the days I remembered taking this before, during and after my workout than on days without it. I felt that I recovered faster and had more energy to train, plus my muscles suffered less. I struggle with dehydration and am prescribed drops at home, but with this supplement I felt like I didn't need my drops as often to stay hydrated. I'm happy to share this with other friends in my circle, I understand why it would benefit athletes, but it has just as much helped me deal with my chronic fatigue, nausea and dehydration and maintain a better overall sense of energy.
