Pros: 1) Easy to connect. You just plug it in, install the software and follow the simple instructions, and before you know it, you're simply converting your tape to an MP3 or WAV file for listening. 2) Can be used to listen to your cassette tapes the old fashioned way. like old Sony players. 3) You can turn on the built-in speaker if you'd rather listen to the tape while recording to your computer, or record without listening to the tape. Cons: 1) The only downside I can think of is that the tape speed seems a bit slower. For example, if I play a cassette on my old tape recorder and then play it on this one, the speed is a bit slower. This way, your digital file will have the same result. Maybe there is a way to fix it in software,
