writing waste.

After many hours and no matter what I did it wasn't recorded online. The only good thing is that the tape recorder itself has sound, otherwise recording online is a waste of time.

  • Excellent overall performance

Easy to use and reliable!

This is the second unit we have purchased. Both are identical. The first has gone through hundreds of miles of tape and is still working perfectly. This is a backup device because nothing lasts forever!

Bought for mom. for cassette player adapter

I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She likes it very much. She has a lot of tapes that can be burned onto CDs, so it's worth the money so she can just burn them onto CDs instead of going out and buying all new CDs. So that saved her a lot of money. Goodbye.

Junk: Cassette player adapter

What was I thinking when I bought this junk? I based my decision on previous reviewers' comments, which were mostly positive. He's right about one thing, the cassette plays very slowly. But what's worse, when using multiple cassettes, with and without new batteries, the tapes crackle so much you can't hear them. Buyer Warning!

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Terrible sound quality

As others have said, the setup and software is great and easy to use. The concept is great but the sound quality is terrible! At first I thought I was playing the old cassettes, so I tried the cassettes in other stereos and they worked fine. The sound quality of this converter on some bands is so poor that it is difficult to understand. I think I'll return it to the company I bought it from and look for a better rated product even if it's more expensive.

Overall great product

Pros: 1) Easy to connect. You just plug it in, install the software and follow the simple instructions, and before you know it, you're simply converting your tape to an MP3 or WAV file for listening. 2) Can be used to listen to your cassette tapes the old fashioned way. like old Sony players. 3) You can turn on the built-in speaker if you'd rather listen to the tape while recording to your computer, or record without listening to the tape. Cons: 1) The only downside I can think of is that the…

HORRIBLE - NOT WORKING

This might be the worst product I have ever bought. The construction is simple, but the player is a piece of cheap plastic junk. The speaker stopped working an hour after I used it, and it turned off completely after I finished recording about four songs. It always turns off automatically when I play a cassette and yes I've tested many different cassettes - same thing. I remember a few years ago I had a cheap player that did the same thing. As for the recording and sound quality, it's just…
