Just put this cart together and I'm really pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of assembly. This cart is sturdy but not overly heavy despite being mostly metal; The top shelf is not solid wood, but looks and feels almost like it. I will say that I disassembled the small tool mostly by tightening the bolts so I hope to see a more powerful tool in future orders but it still did the job. Just don't expect to use it for a second build. After finding this little gem on Revain and reading the many positive reviews, I wondered if this thing could last more than a year in elementary school as a wearable device. Desk, it will DEFINITELY be in its place in our library/music room! I chose to go without the wheels based on other reviews stating the wheels didn't work. We didn't need a portable cart anyway for our special needs. However, if I really needed a portable cart, I would definitely buy it again. However, I appreciated the ability to use adjustable "legs" since our cart rests half on the mat and half on the wooden floor (another reason I decided to forego wheels). The "legs" can be screwed onto any of the 4 corners of the base and tightened to the correct height - I had no problem leveling my cart. If you are considering buying this car I highly recommend it.
