Review on πŸ”Š GTEK Portable Monitor: Ultrawide Screen, 1920X1080, Blue Light Filter, 60Hz, Built-In Speakers by Donald Zapata

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The monitor is good but the stand is terrible

The screen is somewhere between matte and glossy. Has good brightness levels. When using USB C air, only one cable is needed for power and signal. The moment you switch to HDMI, you still need a USB-C port for power delivery. That's how the standards are set up, but just understand that single-cable operation is USB-C to USB-C only. It comes with 2 cables, UDB C and HDMI. Both are short 3 feet. The only thing I have is a stand/lid. The magnets aren't very strong and the monitor doesn't always hold up. It just randomly turns around. It's an old groove design, meaning you're skewing the edge into a groove, just not very well done. Not always a problem, but don't bang the table too hard. Pleasing to the eye and good natural colors. 5 stars for value for money. - 1 star for the crappy cover/stand.
