It's a case of figuring out whether or not each platform will help you achieve the outcomes you want. For example, Facebook has a great reach, but if you don't have a large enough community or group of fans/followers, it's unlikely to produce much ROI for you. Similarly, Twitter isn't ideal if you want to drive traffic to your website. But Pinterest does offer good opportunities to generate brand awareness.
