Purchased October 22nd. Recording 24.10. I LOVE purple! It's BIG, but it's a gal. I expected that. It is 14 inches tall. 17.5 inches UM the bottle just below the peak at 7am. I'm already carrying another gallon jug so it's not too heavy for me. LOVE the spiral handle. Seems very durable and comfortable to wear. DO NOT SCRATCH skin on fingers. Like a SHUT-OFF lid. Very convenient. I wash my hands, so I don't use the dishwasher. Straw consisting of 2 parts. I really don't understand why it has 2 parts. It came with BOTH parts connected. The shorter part raises the straw so that it is flush with the top hole. The straw does NOT stick out when the lid is opened. I have to grab it with my nails to lift it up a bit so I can drink from it. ------------- I love sayings on the site. Time 7:00, 9, 11, 13:00, 15.5, 19 and 21:00. I don't go to bed that late because I have to get up around 3-4am to get to work. So I start drinking well before 7am. However, I can still tell if I'm empty of a gallon. I finish it in the first 2 days with that. The third day is not very good. ------------------ It's LARGE and will fit my 2011 Altima console AFTER I remove the cup holder. SEE PHOTOS. It basically fills the ENTIRE area of the console. I will have a hard time drinking from it while driving as the straw is TOO SHORT to remove from the container. but I can drink from it. I can't close the lid with a stainless steel straw, but I just leave it on my workbench and sip. I don't carry it with me! Does anyone know WHY they make it in TWO parts? The small short piece does NOT push it out of the top hole high enough to drink from so I don't know why it's made that way. ------------------ I put mint leaves in a tea bag or ice tray, freeze and add a gallon to flavor the water. Helps me drink it faster with a hint of mint flavor. The lemon makes it taste bitter :). CON(s) is the ONE I found, but the problem POSSIBLY is me. Yesterday, when I got home from work, the water was there around 1:00 p.m. I pack the jug into my large bag and set it on the floor on the passenger side of the car. On the way home (40 minutes) the bottle turned over and lay on its side the whole time. When I got home and picked it up, the side of the bag was wet and part of the carpet was on the floor of the car. So, I know it was leaked. I'm not sure if I was the one who caused this by NOT screwing the cap on tight enough when I got in the car OR if it was actually leaking on its own. ---------- I can test this theory. BUT just know that this jar must stand upright at all times :) :) ---------- LOVE THE PURPLE color. as a backup at home and maybe in my desk at work. So I don't have to carry it back and forth. Drinking people!=================================== UPDATE 11/01/2020 - Straw - I found another straw ! So, this is a 3-PIECE STRAW! This is the tip that will stick out from the top.
