This was the best of the 3 items tried. The cone was horrible, the donut is a good second choice, but the recovery suit was the favorite. It gave our dog the ability to eat, sleep and rest without the stress of having something around his neck. We had our pup neutered, so this suit covered the incision perfectly. It was easy to get on, my only complaint is the rolling it up to take him out to potty. By day 3 he getting pretty spunky and wanting to run and jump up, the suit would unroll, and we would have to grab him so he wouldn’t pee on it. We have since taken extra care in how it’s rolled. It’s kind of bulky rolled up so high but something we can deal with. Length of your dog is the most important measurement. Our dog is only 20 pounds but long, we had to order a large, the neck is big but doesn’t affect his wearing it. Would recommend.
