Review on Sony ICD U50 Digital Voice Recorder by Nathan Issa

I bought this to replace another voice recorder I lost at school. The sound quality is very inferior compared to my old Olympus. It's advertised as stereo, but there's only one mic input. So what you hear in your left ear is the same as what you hear in your right ear, minus the stereo image. Sony's DVF file is also annoying. You can only play it in Windows Media Player, but only if you have downloaded the included plug-in. My old Olympus outputs WMA files. So wherever I go, I can use any computer with Windows Media Player to listen to my files.
