If you are wondering whether to buy or not, YOU SHOULD BUY!

I'll get straight to the point; This is one of those products you didn't know you needed until you bought it. I will say that most people carry pens/pencils or markers in either their pants pockets or shirt pockets. The problem with a pants pocket is that sometimes it gets full (like a cell phone, wallet, whatever) and you have to empty it at the end of the day. Sometimes your pencils and pens are forgotten and thrown in the washing machine. We all know how shitty that can be. It's the same with shirt pockets, you have to empty them, or sometimes the shirt pocket is too small. There it happens. You throw in all your pens, pencils, markers or small objects and they stay there. At the end of the day when you're changing, you literally undo the velcro and put it away. The next morning, attach the Velcro and your day gear. The holder itself is really sturdy and durable. I would be very impressed if the pen could poke through the bottom of this holder. I assume the pockets are canvas material but it still holds up a lot of pressure. If you look at the pictures I have 6 pens and mechanical pencils. There is still room for two or three pens/pencils. Not to mention that some of my pencils are custom sized so you could probably fit more than 12 Bic mechanical pencils in them. I had those 2 years before I had to buy a new one because the seams were unraveling from taking them off and on again, and it didn't help that I overstuffed them the first time. The velcro is quite comfortable, the belt in the picture is about 2-3 inches high so it will fit most belts. I can't think of any cheating. For $10 this is a must have. I guarantee you will love it. I even bought a few for my colleagues who said they didn't need it. Weeks go by and they never leave the house without him! If you are in school I would say a pencil case would be better. I'm only saying that because you have a backpack. This is more for people who are on the go and want to carry as little as possible, such as construction workers, mechanics, landscape gardeners, relatives, airport employees, etc. Ruler! - Velcro for easy on and off - Velcro size is pretty convenient - now $10 vs ruined shirts/pants from leaving pens and pencils in the washing machine.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems
