Every day I take 2 pens and a spatula to work. The company gives us free ones that last about 2 weeks and then all the stitching falls apart. I've been wearing it every day for over 6 months now and it looks almost brand new! I don't write many reviews, but this holster has held up so well that I've decided to give it five stars.

The bottom of the holder only wears out when inserting ink sticks uncapped or in the extended position. Mechanical pencils will only fit and not damage the holder if you move the lead away. My very first one lasted 3 years following these rules. Then I started carrying ink sticks that popped out and kept forgetting to put them away.
