Great radiator company

Fits my 94 YJ perfectly. Lowered the temperature by at least 10 degrees. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because after installing and running it for about a week, I found a pinpoint leak at the weld around the drain. However, they stand behind their guarantee and have already provided me with shipping information for a new one, 5 hours from complaint to receiving shipping information. I will use them again and recommend them to all my friends

  • Solid construction

Incorrect fittings, poor quality of the cover.

It works now but I had to buy new 6mm screws for the job. Also, this cooler kept leaking around the cap. I bent the faucets on the cap a bit to allow the seals to fit snugly in the filler neck and this modification seems to work. The lid itself is very flimsy and not as secure as the OEM lid. Now I have to order a new cap from Mishimoto as a replacement as the stock OEM caps will not fit this radiator. If he did it again I would just buy a new wheel OEM from the dealer. The original radiator…

Pros

Cons
  • Appearance

So after reading the reviews here I was 50/50 on pulling the trigger so I ordered the installation The AC line he was late Mishimoto has already pre-cut so you only have one take a wrench and bend it back and forth and it will fall off. The screws they provided were wrong. No big deal. I went to a hardware store to get them except this radio is beautiful. I haven't noticed any difference in cooling, maybe a little but you can't beat the warranty or what they look like

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not all will fit

If you've dealt with it more than once, it will cost you.

Yes. Is it expensive. If you've swapped out a crappy radiator for plastic tanks a few times, it's worth every penny. Much better than the stock cooler. Installing on this one is pretty easy. You'll need different hardware than what's included, but it doesn't matter. (6) M6x40mm screws and (6) 1/4 nylon standoffs will do. I didn't have to drill or cut anything. The AC lines do hit, but the heatsink is designed so that the tab is curved in this area. The Jeep runs about 10 degrees cooler, so…

Wasted time and money

Literally in January I got a radiator for my Wrangler 06 for replacement because it started leaking through the drain plug and cracked, well it definitely needs to be called back and checked How exactly how many people have a problem? I had my first cooler about 2 years before it cracked and now this has only been in the same place for 8 months and worse this time it's ridiculous now, because of this broken cooler I have to look elsewhere because I don't waste it can save a lot of time and…

Pros
  • Quality fitting
Cons
  • Not in style

LEAKS after 5000 miles! High performance, all aluminum, lifetime warranty. Usually if it costs more, "should be better". NOT RIGHT. When mine started leaking I researched forums etc on this cooler. You should have done that first. Lots of info on others having the same leak issues. I didn't decide to get another time bomb on guarantee. On advice I took an OEM cooler. An OEM that fits my 2000 Wrangler is available through Revain, but "see if it will fit" incorrectly says it won't fit. I have a…

a leak. for Radiator

I bought this radiator to replace my stock radiator which has served my 2004 Jeep Wrangler faithfully since it was factory installed. I was very excited at the prospect of this TIG welded all aluminum heatsink with rubber insulators. When it arrived, everything screamed quality, right down to the perfect welds. After only a few months of sporadic use, a small leak started above the passenger side drain plug where the air foil meets the lower reservoir. A large constant flow of coolant flowed…

Very disappointed and very disappointed

As a newbie in car modification, I believe brand reputation attracts customers, this reputation comes from initially high quality products. This purchase has not been made. This is the second cooler I've bought from Mishimoto and I have to say that the stock cooler that was 15 years old and had 100,000 miles performed better than this new "efficient cooler". First, the quality of the welds on this cooler was sub-par, they urged me to fill the gaps in the welds myself when I originally checked…

Works great until it leaks!

Bought to replace a 2002 TJ with a 4.0 cooler that had a cracked tank due to poor plastic tank design. It's all aluminum and won't necessarily fail like a standard design. The cooler has been replaced. I had to bend a small portion of the passenger side mounting flange due to my AC lines, but Mishimoto took this into account in their design and it was already perforated and slightly folded (I broke it completely, but maybe you should just crease it) The The design of the radiator is very solid…
