Review on Mishimoto MMRAD-WRA-87 Performance Aluminum Radiator for Jeep Wrangler YJ/TJ 1997-2006: Enhance Cooling Efficiency and Performance by Brian Wesley

If you've dealt with it more than once, it will cost you.

Yes. Is it expensive. If you've swapped out a crappy radiator for plastic tanks a few times, it's worth every penny. Much better than the stock cooler. Installing on this one is pretty easy. You'll need different hardware than what's included, but it doesn't matter. (6) M6x40mm screws and (6) 1/4 nylon standoffs will do. I didn't have to drill or cut anything. The AC lines do hit, but the heatsink is designed so that the tab is curved in this area. The Jeep runs about 10 degrees cooler, so that's good. Don't forget to do your top/bottom hoses and thermostat while you're at it. Additional parts may cost $40.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Useless features
