I've been looking for a good quality cotton ironing board cover for a long time, preferably made in the USA. Here it is - from Golden Hands. It fits perfectly on my early 1960's ironing board (which is the standard 54β³ size), even over the high-tech cover (and slippery, hence the need for a cotton cover) and minimal padding already on the board. -er and quilter, this cover works great with my old board and my new steam iron to get the results I want.
