I bought this belt bag for running. Which works really well as it's not thick but big enough to fit my car keys, wallet and phone in while I run. But recently, since I started cycling, I've been using these soft cycling shorts. I understand that they don't have pockets (I haven't bought a cycling jersey yet), it's good that I have this fanny pack to put everything I need in it and because it's very thin. It doesn't bulk up under my shirt and isn't heavy enough to bother me while cycling. There are times I forget it's even there.
