I was a big fan of 1st gen branded pencils because I really prefer long handles and although I'm used to the heavier and thicker 2nd gen, I still can't say I really liked her. I've always wanted to try one of the duplicates but never decided to until I saw this one. The color variety is attractive and I love that it uses USB-C instead of micro because I can just use my phone charger, but the REALLY brilliant feature is how pointed the tip is. I'm usually very picky with my crayons and hate short nibs because I feel like a clumsy kid with these very large crayons. This pen has a really long tip that achieves a surprisingly precise and fine tip that is somehow more fun. My iPad Pro has had a screen protector since day one so I can't comment on the security of the bare screen, but it definitely didn't scratch my screen protector. Also, I disable pressure sensitivity everywhere as I really hate it, so I prefer that this pen doesn't have that feature. I'm honestly a big fan of this and would like to get another one in a different color just so I don't have to switch back to my Apple Pencil when it needs to be charged
