I bought this to cover our $150 couch that has 3 kids and 4 dogs fooling around on all the time. I also have a chair cover but as our chair is too big and too small I will come back and build a cover for a two seater sofa. Photo with dog after night and day of use. Seems to be holding up well. It's a bit flimsy when fully stretched, but I'm very impressed and think it looks a lot better! I used upholstery nails under and behind the sofa and criss-cross elastic staples under the seat cushions. I also placed a layer of cotton wool (actually 2) over the back pads and pinned them before adding the cover. I'm afraid the nails might rip the cover off after a bit of use and I'm planning on securing it with tape. My friend says for some reason the couch has become more comfortable! I will update if anything changes.
