Cheap chrome finish should be removed as it will NOT perfectly match 1/4-20 threads

I scraped off the plating and then it fitted the seat bolt threads on my 2013 TriGlide. I first tested it in a 1/4-20 nut, it was tight and saw some burrs. I took a razor blade and cut off the chrome. Now it works fine.
