Review on π Enhanced Performance with Cardone 32-309 Remanufactured Smog Air Pump by Chris Lemm
Same as OEM in emissions and emissions
Seems to be on par with factory OEM parts. The vanes in it seem to rub against the inside of the air pump housing because it has a sticker warning you that it will squeak, and it does, just like the factory pump. Not sure why Ford needs a squeaky pump to force air down the exhaust pipe, but apparently they are. I suspect they love that squeaky/rough idle noise in a Ford and they designed the air pump to do just that.
