I was looking for gift boxes for my friend's homemade Christmas decorations. She makes the MOST BEAUTIFUL handmade Swedish gnomes! I've bought dozens of pieces to give as gifts. I can fit a few pieces in each box! The boxes are flat and shrink wrapped. On arrival everything was in perfect condition. The boxes are easy to assemble, each taking just a minute or two to assemble. To make opening the lid easier, there is a small semi-circular tongue. I thought it was a nice touch. In terms of strength, the boxes are pretty flimsy, but I wouldn't say they're necessarily flimsy. They are ideal for small and light items. I don't think I would risk putting anything heavy in it as the bottom would likely sag or even fall apart. Combined with festive tissue paper and a cute pixy ribbon, they turned out better than I expected!
