I also took some multi-colored twine to mark the fruit I was protecting from cross-pollination. I can take the bag off, hand dust it, and put the bag back on. When the fruit develops I can remove the zip tie and tie it with a tie to save the seeds. I have saved many of my own seeds in the past, but without protecting the flowers from bees and insects the risk of cross-pollination is too great.
