I needed something to help with my business during the summer months. I'm shipping wax and I want it to melt when it reaches its destination. They worked great in combination with the thermobox inserts. I even sent some to my husband overseas and he said the ice pack was still cool and the wax hadn't melted. Will definitely buy again and highly recommend.

They need to be soaked and the gel fills up so they can then be frozen. I think it would be ok for a kids lunch box but I need it for candle delivery. I have to put them in a plastic bag because they only have one side of fabric (where it has to absorb water) and when they melt they sweat on that side. They are small, about the size of a deck of cards.

2 stars for being cool when you see them blowing up in the water. Reminds me of sponge dinosaurs when I was a kid. However, the rest of the review is the fact that they won't last long at all. The bundle broke the first time I used it and got gel all over it. Use a little more the second time and there is gel everywhere. Third time use a few more and it's gel all over. I'm pretty sure next time I'll continue the trend until I'm out of gel packs just a mess.

I bought these for grocery delivery as I believe it was mentioned in the description. I soaked them a bit and froze them for 3 days, then wrapped each with paper towels and loose layers of bubble wrap to keep my package insulated but still let in some air. We shipped in the winter and they shipped to fairly cold areas, but the cold didn't stay in the package for even two days. They might work for a cooler or something, but not for what I used them for.
