The instructions didn't say how long to soak them. I left some in the water for a long time and they swelled up badly and burst a little when they froze. It only takes a few minutes to soak them. Then let them dry completely before placing them in the freezer, otherwise they may stick together. They are a good size. I haven't frozen any yet, so I don't know how that happens.
