I am posting this review and two photos to answer the question: Can the base for a 5 port USB charger fit? and cables come out there? The magnetic base attaches securely to the top along with the charger. Other comments: The product image shows a laptop held on this stand. It's a little unrealistic. Maybe a Macbook Air fits in there. Also, the small bamboo walls that make up the three sections for holding the phone are utterly useless for keeping the phone upright, especially when the phone's charging cables have bulky plugs. Cell phones just want to tip over Overall rating: 4/5 stars. Definitely gets cables out of the way, but doesn't hold devices perfectly. Best for tablets.
