I rate my proteins on several key factors: - Flavor is probably one of the most important factors when it comes to protein - Protein amount - Protein per gram and amount per serving - Mixability - How easy it mixes and consistency - Value for money, cost per serving First let me say that it's not very tasty. I'll be honest, when I first took it I was shocked at how tasteless it was. It's hard to find a protein these days that doesn't taste great. The amount of protein per serving is also quite low at just 19, but grams per gram is actually higher than most casein proteins. Just a gram of sugar which may actually be the cause of the bad taste but I usually take it an hour before bed and I still don't feel like eating sugar. Mixability is excellent, usually casein is foamy and chalky, but this one mixes fairly smoothly and is ready to drink as soon as you shake it. That's a big plus for me. Now priced at $66 for 75 servings is about 88 cents a serving. That's pretty average, but still a good value in my opinion. In summary, it lacks taste. So if you're looking for a great tasting protein with a good drink, this is definitely not it. You get used to the taste, it's not disgusting, but it's not good either. Protein is a good gram for gram, but if you want to consume more protein, you'll need to use a larger scoop, increasing the cost of a serving and decreasing its value. So I may sound like a hypocrite but actually I would buy this protein again, you get used to the taste and I've actually had some success and I feel like I'm recovering better from training. I can't say enough about this protein but overall it mixes well, has good pure protein content and is reasonably priced.
