Review on ClickSafe Keyed Laptop πŸ”’ Lock for Business by Kensington K64637WW by Clayton Jimenez

If you have a problem.

Yes, if you have trouble turning the little tab after you put it in its slot in the laptop case, it could be because of its thickness. not bad in itself. This is exactly what happened to me with the Lenovo ThinkPad W701. There was no way to rotate this little metal thing 90 degrees. an essential pre-installation step before you can use the mini dongle to attach it to your laptop bag. This annoyed me a lot and I wanted to send the whole package back to Amazon. but then it cools down a bit. I was starting to think it made no sense. The ThinkPad is not uncommon, and Lenovo is popular in the corporate world. They are unlikely to make laptops with non-standard Kensington slots. Maybe there was a way to use that allen wrench to loosen the thing a bit. By "micro hex wrench" I mean that tiny tool that allows you to attach the tab to the laptop case, with a few clockwise turns of course. Well how about doing the opposite. Turn it COUNTERCLOCKWISE.? I tried, and in fact, after a few turns or so, I tried again to insert the small protrusion into the groove. and it did the trick! This time I was able to rotate it 90 degrees. In the "technical documentation" that came with the device, I didn't see any notice or warning to that effect, so I thought I'd mention it just in case. can help people who are hopelessly non-technical like me. As for the review itself, the product seems to be of excellent quality and pretty much lives up to the ad. I'm deducting a star because Kensington underpays for the documentation and the resulting degradation and wasted time.!
