The product was pretty simple. A person must be able to solder. I tinned the terminals on the connector and the wire I attached before soldering them together. It helps to have "helping hands" (with a magnifying glass) for soldering to hold each thing while you work. I tied a knot in the cord to absorb any tension that might be on the lead wire. Collected again. Works perfect! I already had the necessary tools because I work with microphone cables, audio cables, guitar cables from time to time. Thanks very much!
