Review on πŸ’… Dashing Diva Gloss Ultra Shine Gel Palette - Top Choice for Stunning Nails by Brooke Parker

Pure waste of time and money!

This is complete crap! I received a set of gold tips (from a retail store). According to the instructions, apply it to the cuticles and trim the ends. For this I lost the beautiful golden tips. So I started with the tips of the remaining nails. With Color Street nails, you can use a chopstick or your thumbnail to pierce and pull off the parts that get on your skin or protrude beyond the nail. It's a kind of plastic and it's impossible. I tried stabbing with an Exacto knife, it didn't work. I tried to pull and they just stretched and broke. Some left gaps in my nail and some left bits that landed on my skin. With my left hand and liquid polish I could do better and make them a lot faster! Also trying to cut off the ends with an emery board was a mess! It didn't work and I think it contributed to the fact that they didn't hold up well at the ends! It also filed my nails and as a result they didn't turn out as pretty as they were before I applied it. There was no way to remove the excess. So I put on a top. I was very happy that they didn't bubble or spoil with the top coat. Although the tips didn't appear to be sealed. Within 24 hours the tips of my nails started coming off. Within 48 hours they really came up. They went out after a shower so I went ahead and undressed them. Arrived immediately with no problems. A nail broke during removal. in some, the nail is damaged (as if it has torn off part of the surface). When I finished I wasn't sure if I needed a remover or Goo Gone for my sticky messy nails! The remover worked with some cleanup. While they looked gorgeous the two days I wore them (if you weren't looking too closely!), they made up for the damage, the time it took to get them on and trimmed, and the money I spent , not worth. I'm sticking with the Color Street brand! They're real polishes, much easier to apply, last for weeks, and only cost a few dollars more!
