I took a chance after reading Max's review and many other encouraging comments, and I have never looked back. These cost a lot (took 10t), but they are worthwhile. The build quality is excellent. It is good plastic and metal throughout, with no backlash or creaking (my Sony MDR-XB950 started creaking after a month) (unlike the Razer Kraken). Although the leather ear pads are also soft and very comfortable, I switched them out for some velvet ones because I was tired after sitting in them for eight hours at work. Fortunately, they are included. The most popular and adequate option is the sound card. The microphone mute button is on the side and not immediately apparent, but the other controls are large and comfy. Yet, I already do so currently on autopilot. Nothing is smeared, there are no hums or squeaks (on Razer, the sound is really terrible), but the bass is lacking. But, it will most likely only get worse in games. Virtual 7.1 is just for marketing purposes. It only causes problems in video games, is typically not recommended for music, and I didn't really like it in movies. It doesn't interfere, which is okay. The microphone, however, is not very good. It is quiet, has good noise cancellation, and is of the highest quality of all the headsets I've used. I tuned everything up to the highest setting, but you still need two additional amplifiers to hear me normally. It's also really distractingly large and always in view. Moreover, I have no idea how long he will live. Such a design, which SteelSeries received from a buddy, perished after six months. In any event, it is replaceable and removable. Overall, if not the greatest headset on the market, definitely one of the best. These fit comfortably on the head, have nice materials, and were made with great care. I enjoyed it a lot here on the fan. The microphone was generally unexpected, but the fact that it is quiet can be easily fixed by software amplification. The sound quality is significantly better than the SteelSeries v2 and Razer Kraken. They were perfect for watching movies and listening to music (and hello Razer again, damn, they are terrible in everything). Let them be a little more expensive than the competition, but they are worth it. Definitely suggest
