Review on Vibram V-Run Men's Running Shoe by David Jennings

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Nothing for people with wide feet.

Absolutely, no apologies, NOT suitable for runners with wide feet. Unlike the KSO, Spyridon, and other Vibrams, the inside of these shoes stops abruptly at the inside edge of the foot, allowing your foot to hit the inside edge of the rubber with every kick. Spiridons and KSO solve this problem with a nice long piece of rubber on the inside of the foot that wide feet can push and straighten up with ease. but wide enough). Correctly ordering this shoe by length left me with an overhang problem that I haven't had with other Vibrams and some pretty deep blisters on the balls of my feet that I'll spare you the sight of. Attached images compare V-Run on KSO and Spiridon from trunk arch side. On other models you can see where the green ends and where the gum ends. In the second picture you can see the KSO rubber hugging the ball of my foot nicely but the light green V-runs come to a halt.
