My only previous soldering experience was with one of those super crappy $5 temperature controlled irons that heats up in minutes so it was a nice upgrade from that. Or at least it was a good upgrade until it accidentally stopped working after just two months. probably not (tweezers, soldering tips, solder suckers) BAD: - The blue handle always rides up the handle when in use so you have to reattach it regularly - The cable is heavy so it can be pulled. iron while it is on the stand. You have to be careful not to tip it over. - My soldering suction cup got clogged 2 out of 3 times I used it. DIRTY: - It stopped working after two months of use. I used it last night and when I took it out this afternoon it just wouldn't turn on. The screen does not turn on, the iron does not heat up.
