390 Hertz was really good when it worked. There was a noticeable "smoothness" compared to my B**q xl2540 but unfortunately when the monitor was set to 390Hz after 30 minutes of use the monitor started to flicker as seen in the video. It got worse over time. I had to return the monitor and won't get a new one until I know Acer won't fix quality control. I liked it when it worked, wish I had a lemon.
