Short story: Ordered to connect an external 5.5" monitor to a DSLR camcorder. It seemed to work for the first _days_. Then around day 3-4 the video signal started to shine Then, less than a week later, the cable was completely dead - no signal. There was no damage to the cable - no tugging or tearing - and no crashes. HDMI and external monitor HDMI ports weren't the fault - when I did plugged a standard 1 meter mini HDMI cable into HDMI everything worked fine. The form factor is wonderful. But any cable that dies in less than 2 hours of cumulative use - all clean and all indoors - may not be a product, which I would recommend. I would suggest avoiding this and looking elsewhere. Good luck.
