I've had this item for about a month and I realized pretty quickly that after setting up and using the mic for about a week the pads are screwed on the bottom and the top of the table started to slide. I thought all was well because the slippage was barely noticeable until today when the pads came off completely and the stand fell off with my mic and hit the floor. I tested the mic and it was fine, but I can't be sure until I do more testing and usage. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a better position.
