I really like these wrist guards over Triple Eights. In general, they protect the hands better than Triple Eights. The only thing I like about Triple Eights compared to these is the natural curve or curve of the hard plastic when it feels like it hugs the palm better. I bought both sets at the same time and wear them every day (I ride the Onewheel every day) as they seem to protect my whole arm. Triple Eights are nice, but the only noticeable protection is the hard plastic strips on the palm and back. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the seams on the palms came undone after a month of use and I didn't fall off. It's all about the rise and fall, I'm curious to see how they handle the fall. I wish they wore better because I really like these wrist guards. Let's see what the seller does with this problem.
