So far this converter seems to be working to add sound to my husband's older Sennheiser headphones. We lost the RCA function when we bought a new Samsung Smart TV because the TV's RCA jack wasn't powerful enough to power the headphones. The device is lightweight and comes with everything you need. I put two stars because the "cover" for the optical cable broke about 20 seconds after trying to set up the converter and it was difficult to keep the cable in place without this little piece. (I finally managed to connect it by fitting the broken piece over the hole and plugging in the cable. It took a few tries before it finally stayed connected.) Be VERY careful when unplugging the optical cable from the device need to disconnect because the cover is closed. very thin and breaks easily. For the price I would have hoped for a more solid build quality. Maybe I just have a bad blockage?
