If you have children you know that having a thermometer on hand is crucial. And with the COVID-19 crisis, a non-contact thermometer is an essential must-have for all ages in every family. I am really impressed with this forehead thermometer. The digital display is sharp and the use of a color scheme to alert you to fevers (mild or severe) is a big bonus. I like that it is well made and ergonomic. Even better, it is absolutely accurate and requires no touch, just point and read the temperature. This prevents the spread of germs. I also appreciate that you can turn off the sound (to discreetly check baby's temperature while you sleep) and it will turn off automatically to save battery. And although I really only wanted to use this thermometer to measure temperature, I was pleasantly surprised by its additional modes that allow me to measure the temperature of a room or other objects. By pointing this at a plate of food, I can see if the temperature is right or if I need to let the dish cool before serving it to the kids. This thing is really handy! It only takes 1 second to scan, which makes it very convenient. Very happy with the fast shipping and great price for all the features it offers. A very worthy and impressive instrument.
