I ordered my son's size because I read some reviews saying they run big. But these fit sopt. Tight enough that my son sometimes needs help getting dressed. Maybe he could wear socks with it? It is solidly made from good materials. My son will outgrow them before he wears them out. They're also made for water, so that's pretty good too. The only issue we had was small pebbles coming off the back ridge, we've had issues with other sandals as well. Overall we really like them and might buy another pair if he needs more!
