SHOCK AND AWE! - Sunscreen

As for zinc sunscreen, I've found it leaves a little less dirt on it than others I've used. Mind you, it's still messy. I really like the very limited ingredients in this product and my toddler's sensitive skin was not responsive at all. We were on a US Gulf Coast beach trip and it was windy; Don't worry about losing your sunscreen spray in the wind! It's also a bit closer to the equator so easier to fry in the sun, but I was so glad it wasn't. Of course I reapplied every 90 minutes and we had an umbrella. He also wore a hat and rashguard. But all that was uncovered did not burn down. It holds up really well in the water. The only problem is that if the suit strap or rashguard rubs against it, or you have a spot where there is repetitive movement (e.g. the crease of the arm/top of the forearm when building a sandcastle), you run out of sunscreen lose that area sooner simply because it fades. The good thing is that it is zinc, you can see that these areas are affected and reapply accordingly. The same thing happens with all sunscreen, but I never thought about it that much until I came across the visual effect. The bottom line is that this is the only thing I will wear my child for long periods of outdoor play and I was very confident in its effectiveness and ingredients. My only concern is that I couldn't tell the difference between a sunscreen and a "kids" version; I bought both. As an environmentally conscious company, I think it makes more sense to sell them as a "family friendly" sunscreen in a big bottle; it would save the environment an extra tube of plastic, plus it's easier to batch manufacture a product than repackage two (yes, I work in consumer products). I know sometimes it's better to sell "kids" and "adult" products in the short term because you're forcing the consumer to buy both, but when you have something that's that safe and really works for every member of the family. lean on it This is the best story and ultimately the best for the planet. I hope they develop!
