We recently found Waxhead and brought a selection of their products for our annual beach vacation. Turns out we LOVE this stuff! It's safe and effective. Zinc sunscreen is white and will make you look white BUT rub it in well and it will reduce the whiteness factor. Better to style with a white tint than suffer from burned skin. The bonus is that this sunscreen is safe for the environment and for babies/kids/grandmothers etc. We have all used this sunscreen and have been very satisfied. Also…

Great for sensitive skin/kids

My son has very sensitive skin, no eczema. However, with eczema, food is usually the only thing that doesn't come out. After trying a few different "baby/sensitive skin" products, nothing worked. Each time he was covered with a small rash. I bit the bullet and bought this stuff because of the minimal ingredients. It was wonderful! It doesn't blow out, the coverage is amazing and it hasn't burned out yet. A little goes LONGYYYYY way! Especially with a small body. I usually make a pea-sized…

Good and bad, good for personal hygiene

So this sunscreen is great at protecting against sunburn in that insanely harsh Arizona sun. I love that the ingredients list is clean, safe, and non-toxic. However, the lotion is very viscous and cannot be massaged in evenly. My daughter has a ghostly white look and I don't mind when we are in the pool, exercising etc but not for everyday use. The white fades from everything, clothes, a car seat, furniture, etc. It's impossible to wash off while bathing. After a few days of constant use, these

Amazingly lightweight, easy to apply

We wanted a physical sunscreen (one that would remain on the skin and reflect UV rays rather than being absorbed by the skin) for our 1 year old. My husband did a lot of research and decided on this one. I've used sunscreen my entire life and I always use chemical sunscreen (one that absorbs into the skin). This product was a wonderful surprise - when shaken well and rubbed in the palm of your hand, it settles onto the face without feeling heavy, even compared to the expensive physical…

Recommended for sensitive skin.

Bought this while looking for another tube of sunscreen. My youngest daughter has very sensitive skin. I wanted something with a set of ingredients that I can at least read about, hopefully her eczema won't freak out. Fast forward, the texture of this sunscreen resembles desitin in lots of olive oil. Warm sunscreen in your palms to make it easier to apply. It smells slightly of oil, nothing critical. It leaves a white residue that disappears after 20 seconds of rubbing. It's not the best lotion

SHOCK AND AWE! - Sunscreen

As for zinc sunscreen, I've found it leaves a little less dirt on it than others I've used. Mind you, it's still messy. I really like the very limited ingredients in this product and my toddler's sensitive skin was not responsive at all. We were on a US Gulf Coast beach trip and it was windy; Don't worry about losing your sunscreen spray in the wind! It's also a bit closer to the equator so easier to fry in the sun, but I was so glad it wasn't. Of course I reapplied every 90 minutes and we had…
