Over time I have bought 3 skirts from this company. I'm 5ft 7in, 135lbs and usually wear a size 6 in women's sizes. I alternate between medium and large sizes. There's a difference! the big one is probably more suitable for the office. I was a little concerned that layering would be ugly, but it wasn't. Layering only on the front. Overall I think it was a good purchase but now I need to learn to wear brown as I feel most comfortable in black.
