Batteries last a very long time
I have a black model of this flashlight and I use it for snorkeling in the mangroves. What a difference between searching for 2mm long nudibranchs and exploring dark areas underwater! I've used it for about 8 hours this month and the batteries are still working. When I first bought it many years ago it arrived dead but was replaced and still works.
