Wouldn't it be rude to say "they work"? To be honest they work, that's literally all they do. This is not a complex high-tech device. It's just a sliding cover for the camera. Well, that said, for something this simple, they seem a little pricey. Who am I to really speak if I'm not in the business of making them? But remember, the local diner gives you 10 tacos for the price of 6 on Tuesdays. How fair is that? Depends on how you feel about onions and cilantro. However, if you tend to hold your Zoom meetings in the bathroom, or if you like to dress improperly at home because you can, this works great! Otherwise, if you feel that extra protection is needed in case your laptop/phone gets hacked, this is a nice, unobtrusive addition that fits snugly and keeps the lid in place (on laptop and tablet, got not tried the phone). I would buy it for a dollar. ($1 each)
