I love experimenting with this electric pot as it says your rice will come out perfect. I've had no luck with rice on the stovetop, nor in the Instant Pot. When I saw this little mini pot I knew I had to try it as it's perfect for me who lives alone. The instructions were simple and clear, so we tried rice first. There are no recipes included in the instructions, but I used one that I've tried before. Bring the water to a boil according to the directions, then add the rice. I had fluffy rice in 12 minutes, no stirring. What a surprise, great fluffy rice. This electric saucepan is non-stick, so using a plastic spatula or wooden spoon instead of metal utensils is recommended. The set comes with a basket steamer where you can steam vegetables with boiling water in a saucepan at any time. You can also use a non-stick meat or chicken casserole, but don't use metal utensils to turn them. This is to protect your hot pot so it will last you for many years. What a wonderful harness for anyone living alone. WOW! I will really enjoy experimenting with this powerful electric burner.
