I climbed onto my loft bed with it. That's less than I expected. It's also not as heavy in wood as I wanted, lighter than I expected in wood. Assembly wasn't difficult, but use a screwdriver of your size. don't try to use them. I have to admit I was wondering if it would be sturdy or durable enough, but for now yes. I don't know how time affects it. Not exactly what I wanted or expected, but it does the job.
