I like the stool, sturdy and all, but the stool I received was not painted even though I ordered a painted item. It was a few dollars more than usual. I was very disappointed so be careful!

If you've been trying to buy a decent stool lately, you'll find (like us) that they're ugly and the choices in stores are very limited . This stool is great. Very easy to assemble, very durable and beautiful stool made of high quality wood. Would buy again. We bought this for our daughter's room as she needs to climb into a loft bed.

Disappointed. This stool did not live up to my expectations, appears to be of poor quality and not very durable. Also, the screwdriver that came with it for assembly was incredibly cheap and started coming loose when I installed a few screws. I appreciate that they provided an assembly tool, but that would be very difficult without your own drill or quality screwdriver.

It's durable and doesn't slip on the tiled floor when I step on it. It comes with its own screwdriver, but it would be better if it was a long-handled screwdriver for the last few screws. It didn't appear to have any surface treatment and since we are in a dry part of the country we coated it with tung oil. I wish it had an end.

I climbed onto my loft bed with it. That's less than I expected. It's also not as heavy in wood as I wanted, lighter than I expected in wood. Assembly wasn't difficult, but use a screwdriver of your size. don't try to use them. I have to admit I was wondering if it would be sturdy or durable enough, but for now yes. I don't know how time affects it. Not exactly what I wanted or expected, but it does the job.

The item arrived today. I assembled it and then found that there is a crack on one side so I need to contact support. It's not big and not very noticeable, but I know I didn't break it when I put it together. Some of the bolts didn't appear to be fully tightened but were fully tightened so I may need to purchase slightly larger bolts.
