Review on πŸ”οΈ Optimized Snow Peak Titanium Cup for Backpackers by Richie Jacobson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All in all I keep it.

Very, very light. The material is thin enough that I could easily break it if I really wanted it, but I don't think I need to worry about it breaking as intended. Despite the lack of a spout, the design of the rim makes it very easy to pour out liquid without it dripping down the sides of the cup. HOWEVER, it is not always easy to control leakage as the grommetless design still creates a wide 'leakage zone', measuring lines are useful but not entirely accurate. So far, however, they have been well suited for measuring. The pen doesn't get hot no matter how hot the liquid is because titanium just doesn't hold heat very well. However, the drinks also cool down very quickly. One feature I'd like to see is the ability to make the handle foldable, or even better, detachable. If so, using the cup as a steamer in my real pot would help (I still use it, but it takes a little getting used to). All in all a very versatile camping tool that works as a drinking cup, measuring cup and small chocolate and egg steamer that could use a bit of wrapping but that's it but other than that I like it.
