Light, elegant, classic, beautiful.

Lightweight, stylish, classic and (unlike some even lighter, smaller plastic cups) cook in. For ultra-minimalists, this may be your complete cooking set. And you can clip the handle to your belt and carry it there - try this with smaller, lighter plastic cups!

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Every hiker needs a Sierra Cup

stainless steel version was originally purchased. I bought this titan as a special gift for my nephew who is going on a long backpacking trip. Every pack needs a Sierra Cup, why not make it special and pay a few bucks more for titanium from a company synonymous with quality gear.

Pros
  • hands-free operation
Cons
  • protection

Super light and super strong

Ultra light, I've had the steel version for decades and use it regularly but mostly in the home kitchen. Unfortunately, somehow it wasn't packaged when I returned to the States after ten years abroad. This one is even lighter than my original! Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good value for money

Ordered on March 13th and shipped from Japan on March 14th, estimated arrival date April 12th to May 3rd. It arrived on March 22nd, better than many domestic orders I've encountered in the past. Great job by the seller. This summer he will go on the BSA Philmont Expedition with a field test this weekend. This is a very nice item as it is lighter than plastic, more durable and can withstand significantly heavier loads - all at a weight of 1.25 ounces! While the handle is "fixed" in place, one…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

All in all I keep it.

Very, very light. The material is thin enough that I could easily break it if I really wanted it, but I don't think I need to worry about it breaking as intended. Despite the lack of a spout, the design of the rim makes it very easy to pour out liquid without it dripping down the sides of the cup. HOWEVER, it is not always easy to control leakage as the grommetless design still creates a wide 'leakage zone', measuring lines are useful but not entirely accurate. So far, however, they have been…
