Review on Electric Fire Truck Kids Toy by Sam Pullen

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Cheaply made, fun to watch for a while but nothing more

It's surprisingly light and just by its weight you can tell it's made of very cheap materials, very thin plastic. This is one of those toys that you're sure to break easily. I bought this for my nephew who will soon be two years old and is currently involved with fire trucks. The sound and movement of the fire truck is nice to look at, but I'm very disappointed because there's nothing else to open, explore, or click. It would be nice if at least part of the upper part could be moved, the bonnet or the trunk could be opened. I'm giving 2 stars because I'm so frustrated with the screw on the battery cover. I put batteries in and when my 2 year old nephew opened it it was already working but the screw was loose and fell off near the tires then inside the truck and now it's stuck there. I have no way of getting it out unless I disassemble the truck (which I won't do). Now with the screw loose inside the truck you can hear that rattling noise inside which is really annoying and even makes it cheaper. I'm ashamed to admit my nephew's mother might think I'm giving such a cheap toy to her son. But okay. This must be done. However, I would advise you not to leave this toy unattended with a toddler. The flimsy plastic gets sharp when it tears, and if some pieces fall apart you could choke on them. nope I don't buy toys like that anymore.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Good but not great
