My 15 year old wanted LED strips for his birthday. I checked out TONS, read all the reviews and chose this one. and he (and I) couldn't be happier! Excellent quality, excellent packaging, detailed instructions. The remote control is cool, but there are more customizable colors and more if you download the app and control it from your phone. You also have multiple music sync options (so they change to the beat of the music). Very cool, very happy. I hung it on the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling. Tips: (1) understand that these are two sets, but they start from the same angle - they don't connect end to end like Christmas lights, you have to pick a starting angle and then run a 25-. ft section in one direction and another 25m section in the other direction (see photo). (2) I removed the sticky/adhesive backing and stuck it to the top of the wall, not the ceiling. I then attached clear pins every two feet under the strip (not across the strip!) for extra support (see photo). (3) We had an overlap at the ends where the two strands meet. You can trim off the excess, but I just put one strand right over the other (he didn't want to cut it so as not to move it later). We had no problems at all with such an overlap - you can't even see it visually (see photo). So. in general very satisfied! In fact, after seeing how cool it had gotten, his older brother decided to order his own room too!
